Storm Over the Buachaille | Glencoe Fine Art Print
Dubh Glas (Gaelic for Dark Water) is a series of low key monochrome images from the Scottish highlands attempting to capture the essence of a landscape dominated by water. Rain, snow and ice work with with streams and waterfalls to shape the land and either cloak it in vegetation or strip it to bare rock. Clouds and mist blur the land and soften the sky, casting long, deep shadows in the low angled sun. This is a land of echoing silence, raw beauty and subdued light... a land of dubh glas.
All our prints are available with a matt finish, each carefully profiled for fantastically accurate and consistent reproductions using giclée printing techniques.
